In the final, India chose to bat first, showcasing a stunning performance led by Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who scored 175 runs off 80 balls, including 15 fours and 15 sixes. Captain Ayush Mhatre contributed with a solid 53 runs, while Abhigyan Kundu added 40 runs, helping India reach a formidable total of 411/9.


England struggled early but managed to reach 142/2 thanks to Ben Dawkins' 66 runs and a partnership with Thomas Rew. However, they ultimately collapsed to 177/7. Falconer provided a thrilling display with 115 runs off 67 balls, but England was all out for 311 runs. This match set a record for the highest aggregate score in a U19 World Cup final, totaling 722 runs.
