A sex beast accused of livestreaming the rape of his under-age daughter for cryptocurrency has been arrested in Madrid, Spain. Police have said the alleged paedo selected sick followers who paid to watch him abusing the seven-year-old youngster after initially attracting them with photos showing him lying alongside her on a bed.

Officers released footage showing the unnamed suspect, a 46-year-old Spaniard, being led out of the apartment block where he lived and marched to a waiting police car in handcuffs, wearing jeans and a black top. In a shocking summary of the sex crimes he is accused of committing after culminating its near-four-month investigation, a spokesman for the National Police said today: "Officers in Madrid have arrested a man for allegedly broadcasting the sexual abuse he subjected his own daughter to through a live streaming app. In exchange the arrested man obtained cryptocurrency via the same app which he exchanged for an increase in online popularity and gifts that were offered.

"The investigation began after police received an anonymous email which was set up specifically to receive tip-offs from the public about child porn crimes," the spokesperson said, adding that the police probe began last November when the information was received.

"Detectives discovered the arrested man used private livestreaming rooms to attract users interested in this type of material, using as a hook photos of him lying on a bed with his daughter.

After contacting paying customers through an external messaging app, "he broadcast the sexual abuse he subjected his under-age daughter to in exchange for cryptocurrency which could be exchanged online for gifts or to improve his web positioning," the spokesperson added.

"He was arrested after officers managed to identify him and locate him in Madrid.

"During a search of his home two mobile phones with a large amount of pornographic material on them were seized.

"He has been remanded in prison after appearing before a judge on suspicion of corruption of minors, consisting of the production, possession and distribution of child pornography, and a crime of sexual assault."

Local reports say he was arrested in the Madrid neighbourhood of Tetuan and say police had never come across the application he was using to allegedly commit his horror crimes before they started investigating him.

He is understood to have shared custody with his former partner of the schoolgirl he was allegedly sexually abusing.
Although police have described his motive as financial, well-placed sources said he had earned only about €1,000 (£850) before he was arrested.
