Lt. Gen. Vladimir Alekseev, close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, was shot in succession. The sensational incident took place on Friday morning in the military residential area of Moscow. Alekseev was rescued with serious injuries and admitted to a nearby hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment there. Russia pointed the finger at Ukraine in the whole incident.
According to Russian media reports, Alekseev was shot this morning in the residence in northwest Moscow. The assailant entered the residence and opened fire at him. After that, it gives off from there. It is not yet clear how the attacker managed to break through the security cordon. Alekseev was rescued and admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. Russia claims that Ukraine is behind the whole incident. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s special forces conspired to assassinate Alekseev. However, there is no response from Kiev yet. Incidentally, speculations were spreading for a few days that Alekseev could be the next Russian army chief. He was shot in the middle.
Incidentally, war has been going on between Russia and Ukraine for more than three years. US President Donald Trump has tried several times to stop this war, but no special solution has emerged. He also held separate meetings with the presidents of the two countries. But there was no proof of that. In this situation, Trump was supposed to have a comprehensive meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest, Hungary. But the US president has made it clear that he does not want to waste time. As a result, the issue of resolving the conflict between the two countries is far away.
