New Delhi, 6 February 2026: Indian team’s explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has set many world records by playing a historic inning of 175 runs with 15 sixes in just 80 balls against England in the Under-19 World Cup final. He has become the player with the highest individual score in the Under-19 World Cup final and the highest number of 30 sixes in a single tournament. Along with this, he has also made the record of completing the fastest 150 runs in just 71 balls.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has broken many records by playing a historic innings in the final of Under-19 World Cup 2026. He scored 175 runs in just 80 balls against England at Harare Sports Club on Friday. His innings included 15 Chaggas and 15 Choggas. With this, Vaibhav has become the player to hit the most sixes in the Under-19 World Cup, the fastest to score 150 runs in the Under-19 and the highest individual score in the World Cup final. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an inning of 175 runs, which is the highest score made by any player in the history of Under-19 World Cup final. Unmukt Chand (111 runs, 2012) is now at second place in this list. Then comes Brett Williams (108), Stephen Peters (107) and Manjot Kalra (101). Vaibhav has now become the player to hit the most sixers in a single edition of the Under-19 World Cup. He has hit a total of 30 sixes in this tournament. With this he has broken the record of South Africa’s Dewald Brewis (18 runs, 2022).

Vaibhav had hit 15 sixes in the final match. He has become the batsman who has hit the most number of sixes in a single inning of the Under-19 World Cup. He has beaten the record of Australia’s Michael Hill (12 Chagga, 2012). Vaibhav now holds the record for scoring the fastest 150 runs in Under-19 cricket, he achieved this feat in just 71 balls. Earlier, England’s Ben Mayes had scored 150 runs in 98 balls. Vaibhav has now reached the second position in terms of fastest century in the Under-19 World Cup. He completed his century in just 55 balls. Australia’s Will Malajchuk (51 balls) is at first position in this list.
