In the final clash between India and England at Harare Sports Club, the Indian team made a stormy start by batting first. While opening, 14 year old Vaibhav played an explosive inning of 175 runs in just 80 balls, which included 15 fours and 15 sixes. His strike rate was 218.75, which is beyond the imagination of any player at this age.

This innings of Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the biggest individual so far in the Youth World Cup final, in which he completed the century in 55 balls and also created the record of fastest century in the World Cup final. Due to Vaibhav's brilliant batting, the Indian team scored 251 runs in just 25.3 overs. His innings left the England bowlers completely helpless and he was praised all over the world.

Vaibhav's record breaking innings
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is already the owner of many records. He has become the highest run-scorer Indian player in this tournament, where he scored a total of 439 runs. His innings has also created a record for hitting the most number of sixes (15) in Youth ODI and he has become the first batsman to complete 100 sixes in Youth ODI. Seeing such a big performance at such a young age, even former cricketers like Michael Vaughan are calling him a 'very special player'.
