Aligarh, 6 February 2026: Cyber hackers have hacked the Facebook ID of Indian cricket team’s opening batsman Rinku Singh. Hackers are withdrawing money from his monetize ID, which has 1.6 million followers. Rinku Singh’s brother has complained to the SSP and filed a report in the cyber police station. Police is searching for cyber fraudsters.
Rinku Singh had checked his ID a few days ago. Despite having the password, he could not access it. His Facebook ID “rinkukumar344.8.7” was logged in with Gmail ID. Investigation revealed that this Gmail ID was logged in with the Gmail ID “commercial.rinkukumar”.
Additionally, hackers are also extorting funds from monetized Facebook IDs that have 1.6 million followers. Rinku Singh informed the SSP about this through phone. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged by Rinku’s brother Sonu Singh.
A case has been registered against an unknown cyber hacker in the cyber police station. Rinku is currently in Mumbai and is part of the T20 World Cup team. According to SSP Neeraj Jadon, the cyber team is investigating this matter.
