Chief Minister's Health Scheme: The central and state governments in India are running several welfare schemes. The objective of these schemes is to promote the social and economic development of the people. In line with this, the Punjab government has also launched the Chief Minister's Health Scheme. Under the 'Chief Minister's Health Scheme' (Mukhya Mantri Sehat Yojna - MMSY), the Punjab government has introduced free and cashless treatment facilities up to ₹10 lakh for all citizens of the state. The biggest feature of this scheme is that there is no income limit, allowing both rich and poor, and government and private employees to benefit from it.

Documents Required for Chief Minister's Health Scheme Card:
Aadhaar Card - This is mandatory as proof of identity and residence.

Voter ID Card - A voter ID card is required as proof of being a resident of Punjab.

Passport-size photograph - This may be required at the time of application at physical registration centers (camps).

Ration Card or Family Declaration - A family declaration may be required if a ration card is not available.
Mobile Number - Keep your Aadhaar-linked mobile number handy for registration and OTP verification.

Benefits of the Chief Minister's Health Scheme:
Every family in Punjab, approximately 3 crore citizens, is eligible for this scheme. You can get your Chief Minister's Health Scheme card made at your nearest Sewa Kendra or Common Service Center (CSC). The government is also organizing special registration camps for this purpose. Treatment for more than 2,300 diseases, including major surgeries such as knee replacement, heart surgery, and cancer, is completely free at over 900 listed government and private hospitals in the state.
