A live-in couple in Kolar sold their 3-day-old son for Rs 2 lakh. The middleman sold the child to another couple for Rs 5 lakh. Police arrested 5 people, rescued the child and handed him over to the parents.

But some people are taking advantage of this and are engaged in the business of selling children and cheating innocent people. At present, one such racket has been caught by the police and an innocent child is back in his mother's lap. It is said that mother bears the burden of the earth. She herself gives life to the children by enduring pain. But here a mother sold her own child just 3 days after birth. Yes, this shocking incident that puts humanity to shame has come to light in Srinivaspur taluk of Kolar district. A couple sold their own son just 3 days after his birth.
The couple was living in live-in
Both Raghavendra and Neetu were in a live-in relationship. Neetu was married and had two children, yet she left her husband and was living in Srinivaspur city with Raghavendra, who worked as a driver. Six days ago, Neetu and Raghavendra had a son in a private hospital in Srinivaspur. But due to greed for money, he sold the child just three days after birth and is now in the custody of the police.
Child sold for Rs 5 lakh
On Friday, Neetu and Raghavendra sold their son for Rs 2 lakh to Narayanaswamy, a resident of Srinivaspur city and the middleman of the child selling racket. After this, middleman Narayanaswami sold the child to a couple named Manjula and Krishna, residents of Chintamani in Chikkaballapur district, for Rs 5 lakh. After coming to know about the sale of the child, a local person informed the Srinivaspur police. The police immediately started investigation, after which Neetu and Raghavendra confessed to selling the child. He said that due to financial constraints at home he sold the child.
In this case, the police have arrested a total of five people including Neetu, Raghavendra and Narayanaswamy and the investigation is going on. At present, the child has been taken back and handed over to his parents. Whatever be the case, such cases are increasing in recent times. It is true that giving birth to a child for lust and then selling it for the sake of money is an insult to sacred motherhood.
