Tongue is an integral part of our body, which not only helps in detecting taste but also indicates the diseases developing inside the body. The changing color of the tongue indicates anything from fever to stomach upset, and that is why whenever we go to the doctor, the doctor definitely examines the tongue. If there is a white or yellow layer on your tongue as soon as you wake up in the morning, then understand that ‘mango’ is growing in the body.
Mango is considered very harmful in Ayurveda. Mango increases in the body when toxic and poisonous substances start accumulating inside instead of coming out. When this happens, metabolism slows down and food starts rotting in the stomach and stomach ache, constipation, gas, and other stomach and intestinal diseases start occurring. Its effect can be seen on the mouth and tongue. This is not just a stomach problem. Mango gradually pollutes the blood and later lays the foundation for major diseases like arthritis, diabetes, heart disease.
White or yellow coating on the tongue indicates common deposits. To deal with this, many types of remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda, the first of which is intermittent fasting. Fasting for 14-16 hours daily is good for the stomach and digestion power. For this, eat food between 6 to 7 in the evening and take the first meal between 10-11 the next day. During this time, you can take beverages if you feel hungry. This gives the stomach full time to cleanse itself.
Another solution is the decoction of cumin, coriander and fennel. Boil all three in equal quantity of water. Drink this decoction in small sips throughout the day. This will help in opening all the blockages inside the body and removing the dirt. The third solution is Agnisar Kriya. Agnisar Kriya is considered to be the most powerful Kriya in Yoga, in which the stomach is pumped inwards. This process is done on an empty stomach, due to which the ‘mango’ accumulated in the body starts coming out slowly.
Now the question is what should not be done. Try to drink lukewarm water throughout the day. Cold water helps in accumulation of toxins and also increases the problem of constipation. Lukewarm water cannot be the best option to end constipation and stomach diseases.
