New Delhi. Thousands of people are going to face problems today. Drivers of Ola, Uber and Rapido cab and bike services are on strike across the country today. This has been named All India Breakdown. During this period, drivers of Ola, Uber and Rapido will keep their booking apps closed. Due to this, people will have to face severe difficulties in commuting. The strike of drivers of Ola, Uber and Rapido has been announced by Telangana Gig Workers Union along with their other organizations. These organizations say that there is no fixed fare, rules etc. for the drivers of Ola, Uber and Rapido. Organizations have accused them of exploitation.

Gig Workers Union and other organizations have written a letter to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding the problems of Ola, Uber and Rapido drivers. He has demanded that minimum fare be fixed for taxi, auto and bike drivers of Ola, Uber, Rapido. Which should be taken after talking to the drivers. Apart from this, it has been said in the letter written to Gadkari that there should be a complete ban on commercial use of vehicles with private number plates. They also demand that the government keep an eye on companies like Ola, Uber and Rapido. So that exploitation of drivers stops. In the letter written to the Union Transport Minister, it has also been said that the government has not fixed any fare for Ola, Uber and Rapido. Because of this, these companies deduct money on every trip as per their wish. Due to which the drivers are not confident about their earnings and it has become difficult for them to run their household.

Thousands of vehicles are connected to Ola, Uber and Rapido. In this, a part of the amount that the company takes from the passengers is deducted and given to the rest of the drivers. Drivers allege that Ola, Uber and Rapido deduct a major portion of the fare. Due to which they get less amount. The special thing is that the drivers of Ola, Uber and Rapido have gone on strike after the launch of Bharat Taxi. Bharat Taxi is currently being operated in some cities including Delhi. The Central Government has started this service on cooperative basis. In which drivers will get full fare for the trip. In return, they will have to pay some amount monthly or annually to Bharat Taxi Cooperative Society.
