T20 World Cup 2026: Today i.e. on 8th February, a total of 3 matches will be played in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Co-host Sri Lanka will also be seen playing their match on Sunday. Apart from Sri Lanka, Afghanistan team will also show its talent today. So before that let us tell you which team is going to play its match against whom, where and when.
1 – Afghanistan will face New Zealand
The fourth match of the T20 World Cup 2026 is going to see a clash between Afghanistan and New Zealand. The game will be played between these two teams at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from 11 pm. In this match, New Zealand will be captained by Mitchell Santner, while Afghanistan will be commanded by Rashid Khan.

2 – England will match with Nepal
Sunday’s second match will be played between England and Nepal. In the fifth match of T20 World Cup 2026, both these teams are going to play at Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. This match will be played from 3 pm according to Indian time. Rohit Paudel will captain Nepal in this match, while Harry Brook will take command of England.

3 – There will be a clash between Sri Lanka and Ireland
The sixth match of T20 World Cup 2026 is going to be played between Sri Lanka and Ireland. This match will be played at R Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo. This match will be played from 7:00 pm Indian time. In this match, Sri Lanka will be commanded by Dasun Shanaka, while Ireland will be captained by Paul Stirling.
