New Delhi: Two women allegedly drunk sparked a late-night ruckus on Bengaluru streets after their two-wheeler rammed into a cab, following which they assaulted the driver. The incident, which took place near Hulimavu on Bannerghatta Road, was captured on camera and has since gone viral on social media.
According to the videos that went viral on social media, the women can be seen shouting abuses at bystanders as a crowd gathers around them. One of the women is seen making obscene gestures and kicking men who attempt to restrain her. Even after police arrived and escorted her into a patrol vehicle, she continued to yell at onlookers and behave aggressively.
The video was shared on X by a user named Karnataka Portfolio, who criticised the incident and called for strict action. The post said such behaviour reflected a worrying decline in civic responsibility and warned that being drunk could never justify violence or public disorder.
