- We will become Vishwa Guru, but not just through speeches but through examples.
Mumbai . Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing a program organized in Mumbai on the occasion of completion of 100 years of RSS, said that the Sangh has already decided that apart from organizing the entire society, the Sangh has no other work to do.
Bhagwat said that we will become Vishwa Guru. But not just through speeches but through examples. If you are an Indian then you have inherited this skill. Muslims and Christians of India belong to India.
He said that there are four types of Hindus in India. First those who proudly say that we are Hindus. So what about those who say that we are Hindus? What is there to be proud of in this? Thirdly, those who say, speak softly that we are Hindus. If you ask us at home, we will tell you that we are Hindus and fourthly, those who have forgotten that we are Hindus. Or those who have been forced to forget that they are Hindus.
Referring to Hedgewar, Bhagwat said that the Sangh has already decided that apart from organizing the entire society, the Sangh has no other work to do. Even in very difficult circumstances, Dr. Hedgewar never gave up two things. One, always get first class in your studies; Second, to take an active part in whatever was going on for the country. These were the permanent works of his life. The Sangh does not want popularity. The Sangh does not want power. The Sangh is there to ensure that all the good works that are being done in the country are done properly.
He said that Hindu is not a noun but an adjective, all the people living in India are Hindus. Secularism is the wrong word. It should be called secularism because religion is the basis of life.
