Geordie telly legends Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 50, have been offering fans an insight into their family lives on their new podcast, Hanging Out With Ant & Dec.
During Thursday's episode, Dec revealed to listeners that he'd experienced a mishap involving his wife Ali's credit card, but was left dreading the worst when he eventually cottoned on to his mistake.
While the ITV Limitless Win hosts were busy chatting about what they'd been up to that week, Dec recounted how he and Ali had indulged in a dinner out with their two young children, daughter Isla and son Jack.

He said: "Me and the current Mrs Donnelly went out for dinner on Saturday night. I don't know about you now, but I don't take my wallet anywhere," before Ant agreed that he doesn't either, as it's usually simpler to pay for things using a phone.
Dec went on: "But, you know when you're in a restaurant and sometimes you go, 'what if my phone bleeping doesn't work and I need the credit card?' So Mrs Donnelly's always got a credit card."
"She said, 'I'm going to take the kids to the toilet' and I said, 'leave me your credit card, I'll get the bill, just in case my bleep-bleep doesn't work'. So the bill comes over and I tried my bleep-bleep, and it worked.
"Ali comes back from the toilet with the kids, we get everything together, bags and stuff and iPads and all of that, and we leave, we get in the car, drive home, put them to bed, lovely night. We had a nice time."
Unfortunately for Dec, the family's pleasant evening out took an unwelcome turn when Ali discovered her credit card was missing.
The presenter immediately protested his innocence, insisting to his wife: "You gave it to me in the restaurant and I gave it you back, what did you do after I gave it back?'
"And she went, 'I don't know, I've checked my coat, I checked the bag we had, I've checked all the kids' stuff'. And I was like, 'ah, now you'll have to call the bank and put a block on it'."
Having gone through the hassle of cancelling the card to protect against fraud, Dec's stomach dropped when the truth dawned on him.
Admitting his blunder to Ant, Dec explained: "So I was on my way here this morning, putting these jeans on," causing his co-host to erupt with laughter and shout: "It's in your pocket!".
Dec then awkwardly confessed: "She doesn't even know. Literally on the way here today... it's blocked, but I found it! But I'm going to get killed for this."
Offering no comfort whatsoever, Ant mercilessly responded: "Yeah you are going to get killed! That's very you, that is that is such a you thing to do!".
Taking the mickey out of his handling of events, Ant impersonated Dec telling Ali: "Oh, I don't have it! I gave it you back, so I'm not even going to check my jeans, which it's in.'"
Ant & Dec's Limitless Win airs tonight at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
