Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi left viewers furious as he made an appearance at Super Bowl LX, which took place in Santa Clara, California. Ahead of the final kickoff between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, two Hollywood celebrities were seen introducing each team. Avengers and Jurassic World actor Chris Pratt, who grew up in Seattle, introduced the Seahawks, while Bon Jovi welcomed the Patriots. But as Bon Jovi was seen on camera, shocked viewers rushed to social media to comment on his appearance, with many saying he was "looking old". He was seen sporting longer grey hair and dark sunglasses. One surprised fan said: "I can't believe that's Jon Bon Jovi."

Another added: "Jon Bon Jovi looking old boy," as a third agreed: "Omg Jon Bon Jovi is so old." A fourth said: "Jon Bon jovi looking very old these days." But one fan swooned: "Jon Bon Jovi Best looking old musician rn #MyGoat."

Meanwhile, other viewers were baffled about why Bon Jovi, who is from New Jersey, was introduced the New England Patriots.

One asked: "Why is Jon Bon Jovi introducing the Patriots? Isn't he from Jersey? I thought it's usually people from that city or state that does special things for a team?"

A second raged: "I'm not even a @Giants fan, but why is Jersey-born Jon Bon Jovi announcing the Patriots?!?!"

A third chipped in: "I know Jon Bon Jovi is friends with Robert Kraft but he's from central Jersey. There's no reason for him to be a big Patriots fans."

A fourth agreed: "Why on earth is Jon Bon Jovi repping the Pats? Go back to Jersey! Get Ben Affleck ripping a but and drinking a Dunkies large iced regulah on my screen IMMEDIATELY."

However, Bon Jovi has defended supporting the Patriots before, as he previously said that "no one understood why my relations with the Pats were so deep for so long," as he explained his friendship with football coaches Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick had a big part of it.

"So, wherever Parcells and Belichick went, I went and so, when they went up to New England, I went up, and then I befriended Mr. Kraft and from the mid '90s, when they lost that first Super Bowl or second Super Bowl to Green Bay. And so my relations are deep there, but the Pats are turning things around, and I'm digging it."

Meanwhile, despite being born in Minnesota, Pratt has always supported the Seahawks, saying in January: "I grew up in the Seattle area, and I've been a Seahawks fan my whole life," he said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark.
