The last date to apply for various positions, including Assistant Professor and Professor, at the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is approaching. Candidates who wish to work as Assistant Professors at NCERT can apply through the official website www.ncert.nic.in. The last date to apply for these positions is February 20th. All candidates are advised to apply before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and 10 years of work experience. They must also have a postgraduate degree with 50% marks and have qualified for the NET exam.

Salary
Professors and Associate Professors selected for the Assistant Professor position will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 37,400 to Rs. 67,000 per month, while Assistant Professors and Assistant Librarians will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 per month.

Application Fee
Payment of the application fee is mandatory. The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are given age relaxation.
