The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 has concluded successfully, and now lakhs of candidates across the country are eagerly waiting for the answer key and final results. The examination was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 7 and 8 February 2026 across 140 cities, with participation from more than 25 lakh aspirants.

CBSE is expected to release the CTET 2026 provisional answer key, response sheets, and final results on its official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to rely only on official sources for authentic updates.

When Will CTET 2026 Answer Key Be Released?

Based on previous years’ trends, CBSE usually releases the provisional answer key within 15 days of the examination. Going by this pattern, the CTET 2026 answer key is likely to be published between 17 and 23 February 2026.

Once released, candidates will be able to:

  • Download the provisional answer key

  • Access their scanned OMR sheets

  • Check their recorded responses

To log in, candidates will need their roll number and date of birth.

Objection Window: How to Challenge the Answer Key

After the provisional answer key is released, CBSE will open an objection or challenge window, which generally remains active for 2 to 3 days.

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in an answer:

  • They can submit an objection online

  • A fee of around ₹1,000 per question may be charged

  • If the objection is found valid, the fee will be refunded

After reviewing all objections, CBSE will prepare the final answer key, which will be used for result calculation.

CTET 2026 Result Date: What to Expect

CBSE will declare the CTET 2026 result only after reviewing objections raised on the provisional answer key. As per media reports and past timelines, the CTET result is expected in the first or second week of March 2026, with some reports suggesting mid-March as a likely period.

Candidates will be able to check their results on ctet.nic.in using their login credentials.

CTET Certificate and Marksheet Details

Candidates who qualify the CTET 2026 examination will receive:

  • Digital marksheets

  • Eligibility certificates

These documents will be made available in the candidates’ DigiLocker accounts. Importantly, CTET eligibility certificates are valid for a lifetime, making this qualification highly valuable for teaching aspirants.

Important Points for Candidates

  • Regularly visit ctet.nic.in for official updates

  • Avoid relying on unofficial websites or rumors
