The board has released the revised assessment for the upcoming season in the middle of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
Mumbai, February 9: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has on Monday announced the Annual Player Retainership 2025-26 for the Indian Men's and Women's Cricket Teams. The contracts will be valid from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The board has released the revised assessment for the upcoming season in the middle of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.
There are several notable changes in the renewed contracts which shows Indian star cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma moving down to Grade B contracts. There are more women cricketers in Grade A than men as the list comprises of four players in Grade A for women's team and three players in Grade A for men's cricket team.

Grade A: Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja
Grade B: Washington Sundar, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer
