EPFO Mobile App UPI Services: Employees Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO ​​has brought a big good news for its crores of subscribers. Now PF account holders will not have to wait long or go through complicated processes to withdraw their money. The Labor Ministry is working on a revolutionary mobile app that will be directly linked to the UPI gateway. With the advent of this new technology, provident fund money will be able to reach your bank account directly in a secure manner.

Will be launched in April

EPFO is currently testing its new mobile app closely so that it can be run smoothly. The Labor Ministry is planning to launch this ambitious project on a large scale this year in April 2026. The primary objective of this app is to significantly improve the quality of access and delivery of PF services to subscribers.

Direct connection to UPI

The biggest feature of this new mobile app is that it will be directly connected to UPI i.e. Unified Payments Interface. Subscribers will be able to see the eligible portion of the amount credited to their PF account and send the same directly to their bank account. Customers will have to use their personal UPI PIN to complete the transaction, ensuring complete security.

Other digital services

Presently subscribers can avail their services through the official portal of EPFO ​​or ‘UMANG’ Have been taking help of the app. Although these old mediums will continue to work even after the arrival of the new app, the new app will provide a more modern experience. Subscribers will be able to avail many other facilities like viewing their passbook and checking balance on this single platform.

Security and Testing

According to sources in the Labor Ministry, utmost care is being taken of safety standards during the development of the app. Presently the technical problems arising in the software are being resolved so that the end user does not face any problem. A portion of the PF amount will be kept reserved for the future while a larger portion will be available for immediate withdrawal.

This step will further strengthen the Digital India campaign as well as make the process of PF withdrawal transparent. Crores of employees will no longer need to visit offices or depend on agents for their money. With the use of UPI, subscribers in small towns and rural areas will also be able to get the direct benefit of digital payments.

The Labor Ministry is planning to connect many more important services to PF account with this mobile app in future. The government aims to settle all PF claims in a very short time through digital medium. After its launch in April, this app may become one of the most downloaded government apps in the country.
