Patna: An unprecedented uproar was witnessed during the session proceedings in Bihar Legislative Council on Tuesday. The situation became tense after the opposition raised loud slogans over a social media comment by RJD against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. When the members did not calm down despite repeated requests from the Chairman, he called the Marshal and ordered the opposition members who were creating ruckus out of the House for the whole day.
This entire controversy started with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar calling former CM Rabri Devi a ‘girl’, on whom RJD is a constant attacker. After criticism from Tejashwi Yadav and Rohini Acharya, the party targeted the CM from its official social media handle.
RJD had made indecent remarks on social media
The main reason for the controversy was a post made by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on social media platform X. In this post, objectionable language was used for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Due to this comment, tension increased in the House between the ruling party and the opposition, which eventually turned into a huge uproar.
Heated debate between Minister Ashok Choudhary and Sunil Singh
The atmosphere became even more heated when the marshals were taking out the opposition members. A heated argument broke out between Minister Ashok Chaudhary and RJD Legislative Councilor Sunil Singh. There was a round of allegations and counter-allegations between the two leaders. According to reports, Ashok Choudhary was very angry and asked Sunil Singh, “What are you”. In response to this, Sunil Singh called him a “nautankibaaz”. Due to this altercation, the noise in the House increased and Marshall had to intervene. Even after being thrown out of the House, the uproar by the opposition members continued.
