The car she chose features a compact design suitable for women and was reportedly intended for her assistant, who had to remain at Hengdian World Studios in Zhejiang Province to work during the Lunar New Year. The gesture was widely seen as Meng’s way of compensating her colleague for the hardship and dedication involved.

Meng, 31, is managed by Yuekai Entertainment. She began her entertainment career in 2016 and currently operates her own studio alongside her management contract with Yuekai, as well as separate investment companies.
