This temple is located in Deoghar, Jharkhand and being one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, there is no dearth of means to reach here. You can also travel by train, bus or your own car. There is a huge crowd of devotees here on the day of Mahashivratri, hence it is important to keep some things in mind before going for darshan.

How to reach?

by train: If you want to go to Deoghar, you can travel by train. Deoghar railway station code is (DGHR). You will get direct trains from big cities like Patna, Ranchi and Delhi. The temple is located at a distance of about 10 km from the station.

By flight: If you are thinking of traveling by air, there is also an airport in Deoghar. Flights are available here from many cities. From the airport you can take a cab or auto to go to the temple. There are also airports in Ranchi and Patna.

by the road: If you want to travel by bus or your own car, you will have to first take the Deoghar route. Direct buses are available from cities like Patna, Ranchi, Bhagalpur, Dhanbad and Kolkata. Private cars and taxis are also available through state highways.

Baidyanath Dham Temple Timings

The temple opens at 4 am in the morning and remains open for devotees till 9 pm. However, the doors of the temple remain closed from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. If you are planning for darshan, getting a VIP ticket can be a good option. While a normal darshan can take around 4 hours or more, getting a VIP ticket worth Rs 300 saves a lot of time.
