The National Lottery website and app appear to be suffering outages, with thousands of lotto players reporting issues. The Downdetector website shows a huge spike in issues reported at 8pm - the same time this evening's Thunderball numbers were drawn - with some 727 reports as of 9pm.
Many lotto players have taken to X to voice their frustration at the National Lottery. One wrote: "My app and website won't connect again. What an absolute shambles this upgrade has been. It's been nothing but trouble. Will go back to playing the lottery in-store." Another commented: "Is the website down? I can't log in as it says 'we couldn't check your location'. I'm home and didn't change anything on my phone." A third player added: "I can't access the website or sign into the app right now."
