The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group D exam is considered one of the most competitive exams in the country. The number of candidates for this exam, especially in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, is extremely high, making it crucial to have a proper strategy, thorough revision, and maintain composure. Avoiding panic and unnecessary stress during the final exam is the key to success.

V.K. Roy explained that Group D has the highest number of vacancies in the Railways, so competition also increases proportionately. Candidates should understand that smart study and focusing on the right topics are more important than memorizing the entire syllabus.

This section seems difficult.
He further explained that the General Science (GS) section of the Group D exam consists of approximately 40 questions, of which 25 are from science. Of these 25, approximately 10 to 12 are from biology. Additionally, questions are asked from physics and chemistry, with physics being considered more difficult. This is why many students find this section difficult.

Prioritize These Subjects
Roy Sir explained that the current exam pattern has changed significantly compared to the past. Approximately 15 questions are asked from current affairs in each shift, while fewer questions are asked from history, the constitution, and economics. Therefore, candidates should prioritize science and current affairs instead of spending too much time on history and politics.

These students benefit
He added that students with a science background in 10th and 12th grades are more successful in this exam. Students with a basic understanding of biology and physics are particularly advantageous. If students understand 10th-grade science well, solving later questions becomes easier for them.

The Exam Pattern Has Changed
V.K. Roy Sir explained that the biggest rule for preparing for the Group D exam is to avoid rushing to cover the entire syllabus at once. It's best to complete the syllabus in 8–10 months and then thoroughly practice previous years' question papers. Particular attention should be paid to questions from 2010 to 2020, as the exam pattern has changed over time.

Taking practice tests is crucial.
Roy Sir explained that taking daily mock tests and full-length practice tests is crucial. Setting a timer and solving questions in an exam-like situation improves time management. If possible, go to a computer center and practice on the system, as many students struggle with computer-based exams. Get a good night's sleep before the exam, revise only familiar topics, and avoid studying anything new at the last minute. A calm mind, the right strategy, and consistent practice are the keys to success in the RRB Group D exam.
