Students appearing for the exam can check the new dates and exam city information by visiting the official website of their regional RRB.
According to the board, the RRB JE computer-based exam will be held on February 19, 20, and 25, 2026. Therefore, students are advised to complete their preparations on time and have the necessary documents ready in advance.
The RRB JE exam is conducted for technical positions, so study and preparation are crucial. Students should complete their revision of their subjects well in advance. With the exam dates announced, time is limited, so regular study and practice are essential. Reviewing the syllabus and past question papers before the exam will be beneficial.
How to Download the Exam City Slip
First, visit the official website of your regional RRB.
On the home page, click on the RRB JE Exam City Information Slip link.
A new page will open, where you will be asked to enter your login details.
Click the Submit button.
Your exam city slip will appear on the screen.
Download it and print it for future reference.
Aadhaar-Based Biometric Verification Mandatory
RRB has clarified that Aadhaar-based biometric verification will be conducted before entering the examination center. Therefore, it is mandatory for students to bring their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their verified Aadhaar card. Entry to the examination center will not be permitted without Aadhaar verification.
Students who have not yet completed the Aadhaar verification process are advised to log in with their details at rrbapply.gov.in and complete the process in advance. This is crucial to avoid any problems on exam day.
Increased Vacancies Benefit Students
The number of positions in this recruitment process has also been increased. Initially, a total of 2,569 positions were to be filled, but now this number has been increased to 2,585. This will provide employment opportunities to more students. The largest increase has occurred in the Chennai and Jammu-Srinagar regions. Of the total positions, 169 positions are reserved for RRB Chennai and 95 for RRB Jammu-Srinagar. The increased number of positions is generating enthusiasm among students.
