UPPSC RO-ARO: UPPSC RO-ARO Typing Test to Begin on February 16th, Here's How to Download Admit Card

For candidates preparing for government jobs, the UPPSC has announced the date of the Hindi typing test for RO and ARO recruitment and released admit cards.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has begun the next phase of the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Recruitment 2023. The Commission has announced the date of the Hindi typing test for the Assistant Review Officer post and released admit cards for the same. This recruitment drive will select eligible candidates for a total of 411 posts. Candidates who successfully passed the first phase will now be required to appear for the typing test.

According to the schedule released by the Commission, the Hindi typing test will be conducted from February 16, 2026, to February 19, 2026. This exam will be completely computer-based. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while the second shift will run from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates must arrive at the exam center after checking their shift timings on their admit cards.

Exam Center Rules

This typing test will be conducted at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aliganj, Lucknow. The Commission has clearly instructed that the gate to the exam center will open approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Entry will be closed 45 minutes before the start of the exam. Therefore, it is important for candidates to reach the exam center well in advance to avoid any difficulties.

Candidates will be required to type in Hindi during the typing test. The Commission has approved two fonts for this exam. The first font is Kruti Dev 010, which is considered very popular for traditional Hindi typing. The second font is Mangal InScript, a Unicode-based typing system. Candidates can choose any font according to their convenience and preparation. Both fonts will be valid for the exam.

What is required to be brought to the exam?

All candidates appearing for the exam will be required to carry a printout of their admit card. Additionally, they must carry two passport-sized photographs and a valid identity proof. Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or other government ID cards will be accepted as proof of identity. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to enter the exam center.

How to Download the Admit Card

First, candidates should visit the official UPPSC website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
Click on the admit card link on the website's homepage.
Then select the RO/ARO Typing Test Admit Card link.
Enter their registration number and date of birth.
After filling in all the information, click the submit button.
The admit card will appear on the screen; check it carefully.
Download the admit card and save a printout.
