The UP Board exams are scheduled to begin on February 18th. In view of this, the UP Board has issued several important guidelines regarding the exams. Instructions have been given to ensure adequate room for invigilators at examination centers for the 10th and 12th board exams. For the first time, the UP Board will be issuing identity cards with QR codes to room invigilators to prevent fake room invigilators from performing their duties during the board exams.
On February 10, 2026, printed identity cards for invigilators, complete with QR codes, were uploaded to the UP Board portal. The District Magistrates (DIOS) of all districts have been instructed to coordinate with the BSA and ensure adequate invigilators by February 12.
First Aid Facilities
First aid facilities will be available for personnel deployed at examination centers and for candidates. The CMOs of all districts will coordinate and ensure the necessary arrangements by February 13. Proper cleanliness around examination centers will be ensured. 18 Districts Declared Sensitive
Strict action will be taken against cheating mafia and those creating chaos. The UP Board has declared 18 districts in the state as sensitive. These include Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Kasganj, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Hardoi, Kannauj, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Deoria, and Gonda. Special monitoring and strict administrative arrangements are being made in these districts, considering certain subjects and dates to be more sensitive.
52,30,297 Candidates Registered
52,30,297 candidates are registered for the 2026 UP Board examinations. Of these, 27,50,945 are registered for high school and 24,79,352 for intermediate.
