The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is scheduled to commence on Thursday. The prestigious California tournament marks the first signature event of the year and features a stellar line-up.

Rory McIlroy claimed last year's trophy by two shots on 21-under par after posting four-under in his final round to finish ahead of Shane Lowry. It marked the beginning of a memorable year for the Northern Irishman, who subsequently captured the Players Championship in March before ultimately securing his career Grand Slam at the Masters in April. The champion of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am will pocket the £2.63million top prize on Sunday, with the total purse reaching £14.63m. It will represent McIlroy's third tournament of the year, following two appearances in Dubai last month, and the 36-year-old is determined to defend his crown on American soil.

"Obviously, last year was a great way to start the 2025 season," McIlroy said during a press conference. "Historically, I haven't played Pebble Beach that well.

"I've played Ok, but nothing spectacular. I think winning on a golf course that I hadn't won on before, hadn't really contended on before, gave me a lot of confidence heading into the rest of the season."

He continued: "It was a massive confidence boost and obviously then went to play on well in the early part of the season, won at the Players and then into the Masters. It was a perfect way to start the year here last year and I'm hoping for something similar this week."

However, McIlroy faces stiff competition to retain his title, with the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Tommy Fleetwood and recent Farmers Insurance Open champion Justin Rose all competing for the trophy. Here is a look at Thursday's tee times for some of the leading names at the signature event.
