Who can apply?
Educational qualifications are different for each trade, so candidates should check their trade-specific qualifications before applying. The educational qualifications are as follows:

Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 3-year B.Sc. with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry and a minimum of 50% marks (reserved category exemptions).
Fitter Trade Apprentice: Matriculation with ITI in Fitter Trade (minimum 2-year course).
Technician Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Age will be calculated as of January 31, 2026. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. IOCL Apprentice Stipend: Stipend and Training Period
