New Delhi: At least seven people were killed after a canter truck collided with a motorcycle and a car on Hoskote-Dabaspet national highway in Bengaluru Rural district of Karnataka on Friday morning. The deceased include six occupants of the car and one motorcycle rider.
The accident took place near M Satyavara village this morning. The car, traveling from Hoskote towards Devanahalli, first hit the bike from behind. The motorcycle rider then lost control and crashed into the canter truck. One more car collided with the Canter truck, resulting in a severe chain collision involving two cars, the canter, and the motorcycle.
Six occupants of one of the cars and the motorcycle rider died on the spot. The bodies have been shifted to Hoskote Government Hospital. Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation.
