There's good news for young people who dream of a job in the Indian Air Force. The Indian Air Force has announced recruitment for Agniveer Non-Combatant (AGNIVEERVAYU NON-COMBATANT - INTAKE 02/2026) positions. The online application process for the vacancy will continue until the deadline of February 23, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates should submit their applications offline by ordinary mail or by submitting them in a drop box. Eligibility for Application
To participate in the Agniveer Vayu Recruitment, candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board/institution. Additionally, candidates must be born between July 2, 2005, and January 1, 2009. Please note that candidates must be unmarried.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for this recruitment can apply completely free of charge, meaning no application fee will be charged from any category of candidates.
Selection Process
To be selected for this recruitment, candidates must first participate in a written examination. Those who pass the written test will be invited to a physical test. During the physical examination, candidates will be required to complete a 1.6-kilometer run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Additionally, candidates will be required to perform 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time. The final list will be prepared after all stages.
Salary
Youth selected for Agniveer positions will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000 per year in the first year, ₹33,000 per year in the second year, ₹36,500 per year in the third year, and ₹40,000 per year in the fourth year. A corpus fund will be deducted from this salary, totaling ₹5.02 lakh after four years. After completion of 4 years of service, a package of Rs 10.04 lakh will be provided to the candidate in a lump sum.
