At the same time, Farhan has presented documents to answer Ranveer's claims of not being given the script. According to reports, Farhan said that Ranveer never complained about the script. He also claimed that the script was reviewed regularly and was approved every time.
The production house told the Producers Guild of India that it has incurred a loss of around Rs 40 crore due to Ranveer's exit from the film. The producers said that a lot of money had already been spent on pre-production before Ranveer's departure.
