Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan lost his eyesight in jail. His health condition further deteriorated. Recently, a report has been submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan in this regard. After that, the country’s top court took action. It is known that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the formation of a medical board to examine the physical condition of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Imran has been complaining for a long time that he is being tortured in Adiala Jail on the orders of Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir. It was on this basis that the Supreme Court of Pakistan appointed a lawyer to examine the health condition of the former prime minister and submit a report. Indian media NDTV said that they have seen the report prepared by the lawyer. That said, Imran has lost 85 percent of his right eye sight! The reason the situation has become so bad is because the jail authorities did not treat Imran properly.

In this situation, on Thursday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the formation of a medical board to examine Imran’s physical condition. Besides, the apex court also said that Imran should be allowed to visit the two sons as well.

The Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership also came forward, alleging that Imran was suffering from a serious eye problem. They said that this eye problem of Imran is very sensitive and serious. If this disease is not treated on time, he may lose his sight forever. Jail authorities informed about treatment in jail premises. But doctors make it clear that the equipment and facilities needed to treat the disease are not feasible in jail.

Note that in 2023, Imran was jailed due to Al-Qadir Trust corruption. After that in 2024 he was given a medical check-up by his doctor. Then the court issued a ban on his doctor-meeting.
