Only those who have retired from the Central Government, the Supreme Court, or Tribunals are eligible to apply for these positions. Work experience at the relevant pay level is required. Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. Pay will range from Level 7 to Level 12. Other pay and terms will be determined by the government order dated December 9, 2020.
The maximum age for applying is 62 years. The initial contract is for a one-year period. This contract can be extended to a maximum of 5 years or up to the age of 65, depending on performance and needs. However, this is a purely temporary position. The contract will expire upon the arrival of a regular officer.
