Barfi: To offer to Bholenath on the day of Shivratri, make sweets at home instead of buying adulterated sweets from the market. Today we will tell you about a very easy recipe of soft barfi which melts instantly in the mouth. For your information, let us tell you that to make barfi at home, take out 250 grams of fresh mawa, half cup of sugar, half spoon of cardamom powder and cashew nuts and almonds as per requirement.
First step- First of all break or grate fresh mawa in a pan and add it. Also take out sugar in this pan.
Second step- Keep the gas on low flame and keep stirring the mixture well so that it gets roasted. Let the sugar melt completely and the mawa become soft.
Third Step- When the color of mawa starts changing, then you can add cardamom powder to this mixture. You have to fry this mixture until the mawa starts leaving the pan.
Fourth Step- Now take out the roasted mawa mixture in a plate and set it well. Sprinkle finely chopped cashews and finely chopped almonds on top.
Fifth Step- You have to let this mixture rest for 2 to 3 hours. Now cut the mixture into barfi shapes with a knife.
Your barfi will be ready in just 15 to 20 minutes. You can offer this home-made barfi to Lord Shiva. Believe me, everyone from children to adults will like the taste of this homemade barfi. The best thing is that this barfi can be eaten even during fasting. Homemade barfi is many times better than adulterated barfi from the market.
