Kieran Trippier appeared to be furious with teammate Anthony Gordon as Newcastle United took a 5-0 lead against Qarabag in the Champions League. The Magpies were facing Qarabag in the first leg of their play-off tie in the competition, and put themselves in control of the tie within the opening 45 minutes.
Gordon scored four goals in the first half of Newcastle’s clash at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium, with two coming from the penalty spot.
However, as Gordon stepped up to take his second spot-kick, which went on to put Newcastle 5-0 in front in first-half stoppage time, Trippier could be seen having a heated exchange with his teammate. Gordon had already scored from the spot earlier in the half, and was determined to do so again.
