Sunali Singh Ranaa's first novel, titled *Whispers in the Cursed Desert: Inked in Blood* (The Enchanted Dunes Saga – Volume I), was unveiled at Bahrisons in Chandigarh on Wednesday. This event was a tribute to literature and creativity. The enchanting narrative follows Layla, a young woman on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's death, while navigating hidden realms and a dark conspiracy, all while discovering her own strength. Sunali, who works as a consultant in the energy sector with CII, recounted how her passion for storytelling blossomed in her childhood and matured alongside her career. The desert setting in her tale represents themes of solitude, resilience, and nostalgia. The launch, which attracted notable guests, showcased her transition from technical expertise to creative writing, as well as her commitment to advocating for women's empowerment.

The vibrant colors of Himachal Pradesh and India were on display at the Padam Dev Complex at the ridge, where the Weavers' Service Centre from Kullu hosted a handloom and handicraft exhibition-cum-sale. This event provided attendees with the chance to explore and purchase traditional handloom items. The exhibition featured stalls from various districts in Himachal, including Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, and Kinnaur, as well as stalls from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Delhi, showcasing a variety of renowned handloom and handicraft products. From the iconic Kullu shawls to exquisite Banarasi sarees, visitors could find a wide array of famous handicrafts at this exhibition.
