Let us get information about the very easy way to make Crispy Mathri. You can also try this recipe before Holi. To make Mathri, you will need 500 grams of flour, one spoon celery, salt as per taste, water as per requirement and refined oil.
Step 1- Take flour, salt and celery in a bowl. Now add refined oil little by little in the same pan and knead it like dough.
Second step- When the flour starts forming like laddu, then stop adding refined flour and knead the mixture like a dough while adding water.
Third step- Let this mixture rest for about 5 minutes. Make medium sized balls from the dough.
Fourth Step- Now you have to roll balls of this mixture. Make a hole in the mathri with a knife and fold it in the middle and then fold it once more to make a triangular shape.
Fifth Step- Make holes again on the triangular mathris with a knife. Heat oil in a pan and fry the mathris on low flame until their color becomes golden.
