How to make Lauki Thepla
Bottle gourd thepla is a dish rich in taste and nutrition. To prepare it, first of all add wheat flour and gram flour in a big bowl. Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, celery and salt to it. Now add grated bottle gourd and curd and mix well.
Due to the moisture present in the gourd, less watering will be required. If necessary, add a little water and knead a soft dough. Finally add one spoon oil and smoothen the dough and keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.

Now make medium sized balls of dough. With the help of dry flour, roll them round and thin like roti. Keep in mind that the thepla should not be too thick, otherwise it will not cook properly.
Heat the pan on medium flame. Put the rolled thepla on the pan and apply a little oil or ghee on both sides and cook until it turns golden. When light brown spots start appearing on both sides, thepla is ready.
Serve Lauki Thepla with curd, pickle or green chutney. If you want, you can make a roll and keep it in children’s tiffin. It remains soft for a long time and also tastes wonderful.
