Lotus loves the sun. If you get at least 5-6 hours of strong sun a day, the growth of the plant is worth seeing. However, if it is very hot in the afternoon, you can keep it a little hidden. Food and trimming

Provide regular organic fertilizer to strengthen the plant. It is best to use liquid fertilizer once a month. A little phosphorus-rich fertilizer during the flowering season helps in budding. But remember, too much fertilizer can be counterproductive. Lightly prune the tree once a year. It will grow new stems and increase the number of flowers. An occasional spray of neem oil will keep insects at bay.
