Delhi Police has arrested 8 suspected terrorists, out of which 7 are illegal Bangladeshis. They were planning attacks across the country. Their links are with ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba, due to which a major terrorist conspiracy was foiled.

New Delhi: Delhi Police has achieved a major success and arrested 8 suspected terrorists. These people were planning attacks across the country. Among those arrested are 7 illegal Bangladeshi citizens. With this arrest a major terrorist conspiracy has been foiled. Initial investigation has found evidence of their connection with Bangladesh, Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI and terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Police have recovered 8 mobile phones and 16 SIM cards from them. Initial investigation has revealed that these people had done recce of the attack sites and were planning to buy weapons. This arrest has taken place after the intelligence report, which said that Pakistan's terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba is planning to target the Red Fort and some temples of Delhi.

How did the police get caught?

The case began on February 7, when anti-national posters were put up near metro stations in Delhi and Kolkata. Slogans like 'Free Kashmir' and 'Stop genocide in Kashmir' were written on these posters. When Delhi Police started investigating this case, they arrested two suspects named Umar Farooq and Rabil-ul-Islam from West Bengal.

Based on the information received after interrogating these two, the police raided several places in Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu. Six more suspected terrorists were arrested from there. All these people were working in a local garment factory using fake Aadhaar cards. The arrested people have been identified as Miznaur Rehman, Mohammad Shabat, Omar Mohammad Liton, Mohammad Shahid and Mohammad Ujjwal.

Investigation has revealed that all of them were working on the instructions of Shabbir Ahmed, a resident of Bangladesh. Shabbir has served jail sentence in a blast case in India. After being released he fled to Bangladesh. There he started terrorist activities with the help of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its leader Hafiz Saeed.

there was suspicion of attack

Intelligence agencies had recently issued an alert. According to this, on February 6, 32 people were killed in a blast in a mosque in Pakistan. Pakistan had falsely accused India of being behind this attack. To avenge this, Lashkar terrorists were planning to attack the Red Fort and some temples of Delhi.

This is how the layers of conspiracy were revealed

1. On February 7, inflammatory posters regarding Kashmir were put up in Delhi and Kolkata.

2. Delhi Police started investigation and arrested two people from Bengal. During enquiry, link to Tamil Nadu was found.

3. The rest were caught from a garment factory in Tirupur. Fake Aadhaar cards were found from them.

4. It was revealed that the mastermind of all this was Shabbir, who was running the network from Bangladesh with the help of Lashkar and Hafiz Saeed.
