Ranchi: A fierce fight broke out between two groups during voting at Idrisia Tanzeem School in Hindpiri, capital Ranchi. It is said that one group alleged that the other group was trying to get a woman to vote fraudulently. An altercation started among the people present on the spot regarding this allegation, which soon turned into a dispute. As tension increased between the protesting people and supporters of the other group, the matter reached a scuffle. Within some time, people from both the groups came face to face on the road and a fierce fight broke out.

During the incident, an atmosphere of chaos was created around the polling place and the local people were also scared. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and controlled the situation. The police pacified both the parties, after which the voting process became normal again. Police are investigating the matter and the people involved in the dispute are being identified.
