The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026). Students seeking admission to undergraduate courses who, for some reason, were unable to fill out the application form within the previously scheduled dates now have a golden opportunity.
The NTA reopened the application window from February 23rd and will remain open until February 26th, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Interested students can apply online within the stipulated timeframe.
Re-opened Application Window for Student Convenience
The NTA stated in a notification that it received numerous requests from students to reopen the registration window. Therefore, in the interest of students and their convenience, the application window has been reopened for four days to allow them to apply for the CUET exam.
How to Fill Out the Form
Students who wish to apply for the CUET exam can fill out the form online themselves. For your convenience, the application link and steps are provided here.
To fill out the CUET UG Online Form 2026, first visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
On the website's home page, click on "Re-opening of Registration for CUET (UG) - 2026" under "LATEST NEWS."
After this, you must first register by clicking on the registration link.
Now, complete the application process by filling in the other details through login.
Finally, pay the prescribed fee and take a printout of the completed form, and keep it safe.
Application Fee
Students must pay the prescribed fee based on the subject/category they apply for. General category students will have to deposit ₹1,000 to apply for 3 subjects. The fee is ₹900 for OBC/EWS and ₹800 for SC/ST/PH. For additional subjects beyond the three listed, the general category will have to pay ₹400 per subject, EWS/OBC ₹375, and SC/ST/PH ₹350. For centers outside the country, students will have to pay an application fee of ₹4,500 and ₹1,800 per subject.
