UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2025 Schedule: Important news has emerged for candidates preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The UPPSC has released the complete schedule for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS-2025) Main Exam. All dates and times for the exam have been made available on the Commission's official website. The Commission has also revised the duration of some question papers from the previously released advertisement.

The PCS Main Exam 2025 will be held in two major cities of the state: Prayagraj and Lucknow. The Commission has clarified that the exam will be conducted simultaneously in both cities to ensure equal access for all candidates. The examination will begin on March 29th, and the final paper will be held on April 1st. The first session will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second session will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

First Paper to be held on March 29th

On the first day of the examination, i.e., March 29th, two key subjects will be tested. The first session will consist of a General Hindi paper. This will be followed by an essay paper in the second session. According to the Commission, both papers are crucial for testing the candidates' language and expressive abilities.

Two General Studies Papers on March 30th

Two General Studies papers will be conducted on March 30th. The General Studies Paper I will be tested in the morning session, while the General Studies Paper II will be conducted in the afternoon session. These papers will cover history, geography, politics, economics, and society.

Two Papers on March 31st

Candidates will also have to take two papers on March 31st. The General Studies Paper III will be tested in the first session. Following this, the General Studies IV paper will be conducted in the second session. These papers will test candidates' analytical abilities and administrative understanding.

The exam will conclude on April 1st

The last day of the PCS Main Exam will be April 1st. On this day, the General Studies V paper will be conducted in the first session. The General Studies VI paper will be conducted in the second and final session. With this, the journey of the PCS Main Exam 2025 will be complete.
