A 23-year-old woman from the Kalyanpur area has filed a complaint against her older brother and mother, alleging that her brother has been sexually assaulting her while their mother supports him. The young woman claims she has been coerced into silence by her family.
According to her statement to the police, her brother, who works as a security guard and practices black magic, has been tormenting her for an extended period at their mother's behest. She alleges that he has raped her multiple times and physically assaulted her when she resisted. Additionally, he threatened her with death if she attempted to report the incidents.
Despite being aware of the situation, their mother continues to side with the brother. After enduring further abuse on Friday night, the woman bravely sought help at the Kalyanpur police station and filed her complaint.
The victim revealed that her brother's abusive behavior escalated after she befriended a young man. Upon learning of this friendship, her brother physically assaulted her and restricted her movements. He convinced their mother that the sister was mentally unstable and needed to be 'cured' through black magic, which he used as a pretext for his actions. The police have since arrested the accused and taken him into custody.
Initially, the police at Kalyanpur were skeptical of the sister's claims regarding her brother's sexual assault. They suspected that the serious allegations stemmed from her brother's disapproval of her friendship. However, after a thorough investigation, the police confirmed the validity of the woman's accusations.
