Five additional exam centres added for PUC exams in Dakshina Kannada

Five additional examination centres have been added in Dakshina Kannada district for this year’s II PUC examinations due to an increase in the number of students.
Last year, the district had 54 centres, which has now been increased to 59. Of the five new centres, three have been added in Mangaluru and two in other taluks.
Mangaluru now has 21 centres, Bantwal 6, Belthangady 8, Puttur 5, Sullia 2, Kadaba 5, Moodbidri 6, Ullal 4 and Mulki 2 centres.
This year, 3,724 students from the Arts stream, 15,504 from Commerce and 18,559 from Science will appear for the II PUC examination in the district. The centres have been distributed across 15 government, 22 aided and 22 unaided private colleges.
