News India Live, Digital Desk: For passengers of Hubli and Dharwad Holi and Ugadi 2026 To reduce crowding during the upcoming festivals, Railways has announced to run special direct trains.

In view of the additional number of passengers, South Western Railways (SWR) has started special services from Hubballi (SSS Hubballi) to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Bihar.

2. Important Dates

Holi Special: These trains mainly 25 February to 20 March 2026 Are being operated between.

Special Guardian: Multiple train trips to cater to the rush around Ugadi (20 March 2026) first week of april Has been extended till.

3. Major Stoppages

These trains running from Hubli will mainly stop at these stations:

North direction: Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Miraj, Pune, Kalyan and Vasai Road.

South/East Direction: Gadag, Koppal, Hospet, Bellary, and Bengaluru (Yesvantpur/SMVT).

4. Coach Composition

All classes of coaches have been included in these special trains for the convenience of passengers:

20 to 23 coaches: It will have a mix of AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class and general second class coaches.

Special Security: During festivals, additional RPF personnel have been deployed at Hubli and Dharwad stations to control the crowd.
