A UK travel company has gone into liquidation, leaving customers devastated as holidays are cancelled. OxfordshireTravel Limited entered creditors' voluntary liquidation on October 30, 2025, according to Companies House.

According to Travel and Tour World, the liquidation comes after the company failed to settle its debts with creditors and sustain operations due to financial difficulties. The official company overview describes Oxfordshire Travel Limited as offering "other passengerland transport", placing it in the coach and travel sector. It reportedly had a long-standing reputation in the Yarnton and Tugby (where it relocated last year) areas for reliable coach travel. All bookings for group tours, business trips, and private coach hire have been cancelled by the company. Affected customers have been advised to check their travel insurance to see if cancellations and disruptions caused by company insolvency are covered.

They can also see if they are eligible for a refund by contacting the liquidator and any other relevant authorities to enquire about compensation.

It is part of the growing list of UK travel companies that have gone out of business in recent years, with the industry hit hard by Covid and rising fuel prices.

Oxfordshire Travel Limited operated with a UK VAT registration, indicating that it was successful enough to require VAT accounting.

The company appears to be a family-run business, with four directors with the surname Gill registered between 2015 and 2019 on Companies House.
