These recognisable faces are said to be returning to the jungle for another stint. Having previously endured Bushtucker Trials and encounters with creepy crawlies, a number of prominent figures are preparing to travel to South Africa for I'm A Celebrity All Stars, with ITV releasing a trailer for the eagerly awaited programme ahead of its expected May launch.

Throughout the opening episode of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday night (21 February), producers offered a sneak peek at the upcoming series. The ten-second preview showed presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly gathered around a campfire, before Ant grew concerned by an unfamiliar sound.

"What was that?" he enquired, as Dec noted it was a "big cat". Immediately, a frightened Ant jumped up, declaring: "A big cat? No way!" before Dec accompanied him.

This week, ITV executives will unveil another teaser during Britain's Got Talent. In the footage, a weary Ant yawns and stretches before bidding Dec "goodnight", reports the Mirror.

True to form, the Geordie presenter playfully cautions: "Don't let the bed bugs bite, the ticks, and the mozzies, and the scorpions, and the sand-eyed spiders, or the kudus, or the baboons..." as Ant swallows nervously.

ITV have not disclosed which celebrities will participate, though the speculated line-up features 14 well-known personalities, including a soap opera legend, a controversial Strictly star and a cherished Olympian. Here, we take a look at the rumoured line-up...

When the comedian appeared on the programme in 2022, he not only secured fifth place but managed to rehabilitate his public image following the controversy surrounding his Strictly Come Dancing kiss with then married dance partner Katya Jones.

A TV insider said to the Mirror: "When he went into the jungle in 2022 he very much did it in the hope of redeeming himself in the eyes of the viewing public. Which was no mean feat given he'd been branded an aggressive gaslighter as a result of his fling with Katya and his treatment of his girlfriend.

"Yet he managed to emerge as one of the more popular campmates and actually finished in a respectable fifth place in the contest."

The 44 year old former world champion boxer is said to be heading into the jungle.

A source said to the Mirror: "David was delighted to get the call from ITV. As viewers know, no chats are off-limits around the campfire, so they can expect to see David grilled over his quirky relationships."

During his initial stint, David claimed third place, behind Ashley Roberts and EastEnders' Charlie Brooks.

That's right! The legendary GC is said to be returning to the jungle after her first attempt ended after merely three days.

The Towie star, 44, maintained she had contracted malaria and suffered a panic attack before departing the camp. Years after departing the programme, Gemma revealed she was keen to have another attempt.

"Everything would be different a second time. I'd be like Lara Croft and Angelina Jolie rolled into one, and I'd do the tasks. I'm not scared of nothing. Hopefully one day the producers may give me another chance," she insisted.

The 2018 King of the Jungle is said to be making his return. He's anticipated to begin the series as one of the frontrunners given his enormous popularity.

One source said to the Mirror: "Harry is TV gold and was first on the list of wannabe celebrity contestants."

During his initial appearance, Harry picked up street slang from Fleur East and Malique Thompson-Dwyer, received a leg massage from Noel Edmonds and was assigned toilet duty after it emerged he had no sense of smell.

Harry isn't the sole winner reportedly making a comeback - 2016's Queen Scarlett Moffatt will also be returning.

Discussing her return, Scarlett said: "I'm not sure about smashing the trials, but I'd give them my best shot. But as I've gotten older my fear levels have gone up. I can't even get on rollercoasters now."

Emmerdale actor Adam came second behind Scarlett previously and earned the title of Mr Bushtucker Trial for completing the most challenges.

A source told the Mirror: "This will be a glorious return for Adam as he established himself as a true fan favourite through his series in camp and then on the spin-off show."

Popular Olympian Mo finished fifth on his previous appearance and disclosed he selected All Stars over Strictly!

An insider told the Mirror: "Mo is very competitive so is definitely out to win this time round.

"He's excited to experience a different side of I'm A Celeb as obviously the castle series were dramatically different to Oz. The sunny camps bring with them new problems, but he's feeling excited for the challenge."

Ashley reached the final thirteen years ago and an insider told the Mirror: "Ashley had some iconic moments soaping up in the outback waterfall.

"Stripping back down to her swimwear on TV again netted Myleene some very lucrative deals after the show, and it's sure to do the same for Ashley."

Pop sensation Sinitta is reportedly among the more senior participants, entering the jungle at 61.

Viewers have expressed enthusiasm about hearing additional stories from her about close friend Simon Cowell.

Coronation Street favourite and Radio 6 presenter Craig last appeared on the programme in 2014, before departing following his brother's fatal heart attack.

An insider told the Mirror: "He was robbed of the experience by the family tragedy, although his campmates and the production team all understood why he wanted to leave and head home to be with his loved ones."

Soccer AM presenter Jimmy became the first elimination during his previous stint and hopes to last longer this time.

An insider told the Mirror: "Jimmy had a brilliant time in the original series he took part in and it really opened the door to his broadcasting career.

"He was voted off first last time and he felt he had a lot more to give. Now he's got the chance to get stuck in again, although he's a bit older so he is worried he might find it harder to rough it.

"His banter is still on form though. Producers are hopeful he'll have a bromance with Harry Redknapp."

Coronation Street star Beverley, who played Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald, is reportedly set for a return to the jungle.

An insider told the Mirror: "Beverley's first taste of I'm A Celebrity was in a cold, wet castle in Wales and it was a tough experience - although she loved making so many new friends."

I'm A Celebrity All Stars returns later this year on ITV and ITV X.
