Mahindra and Mahindra today has launched the new Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe edition in the Indian market. This new edition is positioned above the Pack Three Select variant, which comes with the 11kW AC charger and is priced at Rs. 28.65 lakh (ex-showroom). It carries a premium of Rs. 70,000, in this article let’s take a look at what’s special about this new Cineluxe edition. Bookings for this special edition XEV 9e will begin from tomorrow i.e, 2nd March 2026, with deliveries set to commence from 10th March 2026.
There are no mechanical upgrades, but rather a set of cosmetic enhancements that give the SUV a more exclusive, upmarket feel. On the exterior, the Cineluxe Edition is offered in two new shades - Satin Black and Satin White . These paint options, along with minor styling updates, are intended to distinguish it from the standard version while continuing the brand’s electric design language. It continues to feature 19-inch alloy wheels, full-LED headlamps and tail-lamps, along with a powered tailgate.
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition introduces a new dual-tone interior finished in Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black , with no changes to its feature list. The special edition retains the equipment offered in the standard variant it is based on.
The updated cabin theme extends across the seats, compact gear selector, two-spoke steering wheel and sections of the door pads. Black leatherette upholstery is complemented by brown contrast stitching on the seats and front centre armrest.
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is offered exclusively with the 79kWh lithium-ion battery pack, despite being based on the fully-loaded Pack Three trim. Mahindra claims a maximum driving range of around 500km with this battery.
The edition retains the rear-mounted electric motor producing 286hp and 380Nm. Performance figures remain unchanged, with a 0-100kph acceleration time of 7.45 seconds. Mahindra has not specified the standard charger supplied with the Cineluxe Edition. On the regular model, buyers can opt for a 7.2kW AC charger priced at Rs 50,000 or an 11kW AC charger priced at Rs 75,000.
